In-Class, In-Lab or At-Home Experiments
Labs are inquiry based focusing on using the scientific method and each lab has interative opportunities for students to create their own hypothesis and develop experiments to test their ideas.
Lab topics include: ice cream and melting point depression, milk and lactose metabolism, chemical composition of foods, fruit (enzymatic browning), making the ultimate chocolate chip cookie, spherification, cheese, baking bread, taste and smell and more. MANY are able to be done in a traditional setting or at the student's home.
